Description
While it is necessary that you work hard and give your research the persistent efforts it needs, it is equally important for you to be aware of and focus on your own physical, mental, and emotional well-being. Moreover, with the COVID-19 pandemic putting inordinate strain on your mental health and overall well-being, you might find yourself more stressed than usual, as you take on new challenges in your work and personal lives.
This course has been created to help you take care of yourself more deliberately, and live a little differently! The modules in this course will help you develop a better understanding of why it is important for you to manage your mental health during your research journey. It describes issues like the impostor syndrome, an over-competitive work environment, and a lack of a work-life balance, and outlines the ways by which you can successfully deal with and thrive in this environment.
